Have you ever watched a film with a scene set on a beach with gently lapping waves and a villa  which has its own jetty and vast, spacious  rooms? Well: that describes the house where I am staying for a holiday with my family. A house of vast rooms with TWO sets of stairs down to the basement; two sinks in the kitchen; two basins in the en suite shower room and there are even TWO shower heads in the shower. Of course there is a  pool but ‘the icing on the cake’, as it were, is the landing jetty at the bottom of the garden. From there the brave may launch a kayak or just climb down to the water themselves to enjoy a dip in the sea.
